The Saalach River hike outside of Lofer is one of those walks where you have to force yourself to stop taking pictures. The water was absurdly clear, the trees were full and green, and wildflowers were everywhere. Record heat again, which made a river hike exactly the right call.
Flat enough to move easily, beautiful enough to stop constantly. One of those days you remember.
